Kayserlich is free to download and use — it shows live data from a real Davis WeatherLink station straight away, with no ads or tracking. There is one optional subscription (£14.99/year) if you want to connect your own station; everything else is free.
No. The app comes ready to show live data from a built-in Davis WeatherLink station. You only need your own Davis station — and the optional subscription — if you want to see readings from your own location.
If you subscribe to connect your own station, log in at weatherlink.com, go to Account → API Keys, generate a free key and secret, and enter them once in Kayserlich's Settings screen.
Kayserlich requires WeatherLink v2 API support. Most Davis stations made after 2019 with a WeatherLink Live or WeatherLink Console are compatible.
The optional £14.99/year subscription links the app to your own Davis WeatherLink station so you see your own readings. The rest of the app — dashboard, charts, radar, satellite, widgets and all languages — is free and stays free.
